I think I am a visual learner. I like reading the figures in textbooks more than the text itself.

I guess I should look it up. I prefer to learn by doing something.

Visual learner

A combination of visual and kinesthetic.

This. Or trial and error, most the time.

i learn better when i do things. I can't take a test worth beans. I could pretty uch ace a science class no problem if its a lab type, but when it comes to the tests, i pretty much fail. (which doesn't help me at all in college...)

Very heavily visual. It's to the point where someone can explain something to me in audio and it just doesn't make sense until I see a picture. This is likely because I've been hard of hearing my entire life.

Almost entirely this.

Yeah...

I'm mainly trial and error, but I'm no good at it.

Yay for learning disabilities ._.

Auditory.

For me, I need to figure a concept out by tearing it apart, knowing why stuff happens, etc. the first time I encounter it. If I leave it until later to grasp the concept, it's difficult for me to catch up. I'm good at learning from lectures, because I dissect what the teacher is talking about and understand it by the time class is over. Anything I don't get, I try out on my own, or I ask around. The downside of that is when I stop paying attention in class. I start to feel a bit disoriented after, because I feel like I need what I missed to fully grasp the subject.

I think that makes me right-brained.

This as well. Ive never really liked buying college books, and I usually never do. If I do end up buying them, I usually dont read them.

Logical and Aural.

What's your learning style? - Alley - 2011-01-21

Visual. But no teacher ever caters to me.

What's your learning style? - Rob - 2011-01-21

Trial and error. Self teaching. I learn what I want to learn, I don't learn what I don't want to learn. I have a problem with that.

What's your learning style? - Khoi - 2011-01-21

Visual.

I can't understand something based on lectures alone. I've always had this problem. I'd rather watch something in action a couple of times, then I pick it up really fast.

I have that too, it's horrible. If I don't care about it I just WON'T learn it, try explaining that to my biology teacher.

Anyway, for tests and such, I have to write the things in order to learn them, writing helps me a lot.
The other half of my learning is kinesthetic and visual.
