Trig identity question. - Imagine - 2011-01-21 Verify that: sec^4x * tan^2x=(tan^2x+tan^4x)sec^2x I have a test tomorrow on stuff like this, and I can't prove/verify problems like these. Trig identity question. - Russt - 2011-01-21 Apply the identity: sec^2 x = tan^2 x + 1.
