How do you feel about Sarah Palin? - Erebus - 2011-01-18 To much media attention? Not enough? Is she receiving to much negative attention? Is she ready for the White House? Will she ever be? What do you think of her politics/ideas? etc... (yes this is a bit of response to the recent news about her) How do you feel about Sarah Palin? - Jamie_Kurosawa - 2011-01-19 I think the media just uses her as an easy target because she's anti-political but held a public office and had a chance at being the first female vice-president. To them she's a complete oxymoron in the political arena because of that and because she likes to try and keep parts of her life private, they like to try and dig up or fabricate as much dirt as possible so she might not run for office, like the Presidency, in 2012. As far as her in the White House... really? is anyone truly ever ready for that job? I don't think so. She could actually stand a chance due to the decline of favor towards Barrack Obama and his shoddy health care bill, as well as the recent Republican gains in the house and senate. Plus if she did run, you know people are going to vote for her just because she's a woman and the underdog. I like some of her political ideas which are very anti-political and very no nonsense. How do you feel about Sarah Palin? - Daku - 2011-01-19 ![]() Personally dont think she should open her mouth. She's an attention whore. How do you feel about Sarah Palin? - Greg - 2011-01-19 Why do people even talk about this person? Nobody even knew she existed before McCain's campaign. I don't understand. Why is she a significant person? Why is she worthy of my recognition, or anyone else's? Is she even a likely candidate for the 2012 elections? I don't follow politics so maybe someone should fill me in as to why Sarah Palin always seems to be an easy topic to discuss. How do you feel about Sarah Palin? - Mike - 2011-01-19 Can we stop talking about her? That way, none of us would care. It's getting old. Fast. She's famous for being famous. Anyone who's famous just because they're rich and can have a "reality" TV show doesn't deserve the attention they get >.> This applies to Her, The Jersey shore people, and the kardashians. The Real World did this too. How do you feel about Sarah Palin? - Satellite - 2011-01-19 Bush #2 How do you feel about Sarah Palin? - rayhovite - 2011-01-19 Her foreign, economic, and domestic policies are ancient. They represent the stunted growth of society in the American land. Yet, her value system speaks to the American audience quite nicely. They are quite traditional. Problem is that this does not translate in any way towards policy. She would be utterly outclassed in the international leader realm. She couldn't lead her state, what makes me think she can lead an additional 49? She intentionally misleads the public: death panels blood lbel and much much more fearmongering She doesn't follow things enough to talk about them as if they were 2nd nature topics: "But obviously, we've got to stand with our North Korean allies." and can't forget (value system in public vs value system in practice): "We used to hustle over the border for health care we received in Canada. And I think now, isn't that ironic?" --Sarah Palin, admitting that her family used to get treatment in Canada's single-payer health care system, despite having demonized such government-run programs as socialized medicine that will lead to death-panel-like rationing, March 6, 2010 How do you feel about Sarah Palin? - IImaplers - 2011-01-19 rayhovite Wrote:Her foreign, economic, and domestic policies are ancient. How do you feel about Sarah Palin? - Kurtle - 2011-01-19 I think she was simply over-exposed during the first months of the campaign. I love her personality and feel that she is more patriotic and loves this nation more than most of us. I support a majority of her political opinions, and would exercise my right to vote for her if she ever ran for a political office. How do you feel about Sarah Palin? - Moonlapse - 2011-01-19 She is a monster created by the media. During the 2008 elections the more left leaning elements of the media went after her, turning her into some kind of conservative martyr. As for her chances in 2012, I think she is more of a celebrity now than a potential presidential candidate. If she wins the republican nomination, I'm voting libertarian. How do you feel about Sarah Palin? - Anonymous Moose - 2011-01-19 rayhovite Wrote:She intentionally misleads the public: As much as I wish Palin would slip and fall into a deep dark hole never to be seen again, She was right about the Death Panels. HR 3200 does establish a board of appointed officials that can dictate what healthcare Americans receive and also an advisory board will assist you in your care untill you are in your coffin. The only thing debatable about Death Panels is whether the term is politically correct or not. As far as I'm concerned, political correctness can kiss my ass. Edit: iirc, MSNBC admitted some time ago that the death panels do exist, but that is an impropper name to them. How do you feel about Sarah Palin? - FrozNlite - 2011-01-19 Don't make me vomit. Just to point it out, both Republicans and Democrats have a strong tendancy to be hypocrites. It makes no sense. (Though I'm happy that you at least said "more patriotic" and not "a real American") Personally... I generally disagree with her views. And then there's the fact that, whether it's true or not, she appears to be a complete idiot.
