Icons and start menu doesnt apear on my screen. Help! - Raph589 - 2011-01-17
Ok so, I closed maple, and tried to start it back from the website. Didn't work. Tried starting it with game launcher. Didn't work. I rebooted my pc, and when logging on my user session, the icons and start menu weren't there anymore! the only thing i can do now is open the task manager and click: File->New Task and enter the web adress to go on the internet. I can't even open a program, nor start maple from the website. Also, i had frostwire open when i first rebooted my comp, so i don,t know if it has something to do with it. Please help : /
PS: I use windows xp 16 bits if it may helps.

Can't access even the simplest informations in the control pannel. Everything is completly bugged.
Edit: and whenever i reboot my comp, i need to reenter explorer.exe. So annoying.
Edit 2: Probably a virus, but i can't open my antivirus (which i disabled for idk why), so i cant delete it. Can't start any program except google chrome.

So let's do a summary so you guys can help me out more:
-Cannot open the following programs: Maplestory,Fraps, AVG antivirus
-Cannot open some options in control panel
-Need to reenter "explorer.exe" every single time i start my comp.
-Google chrome's always randomly closing
-Checked the exefile folder in regedit. Nothing abnormal.
I REALLY need help right now. I called an expert, but he can only come on saturday, and i'm not sure if he'll find out the problem. While waiting, it'd be fun to repair the issue by myself. I only need some help.
