Well I have someone insisting that psb speed has been changed.

Their main argument is that they timed a psb and an impaler and the psb came up faster. Which led them to claim that psb is now fast (4).

So basically can anyone check and actually see if the data has changed at all in regards to either weapon as both should be fast (5).
Unfortunately I haven't been able to find an impaler anywhere or I'd test it myself.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say you've been bogus'd.

I'm going to call this bogus. Never in my years of extracting maplestory have I ever seen them change an attack speed. Never.

I just did a similar test.
Both with booster on.
30 second trials

Got 35 for the impaler and roughly 40.5 for the psb

Added si and got 43 for the psb.

I don't know what to think atm. I will upload video if requested and given some time. Perhaps something was changed with spear vs pa cast times? If si still affects the psb then it can't be fast (4) because it would hit the speed cap and not improve and yet it is noticeably faster than the impaler.

Edit: Or i'll be on i bera for the next half hour or so if you wanna join me in fm and see with your own eyes.
Edit2: Didn't relaize Eos' db was that extensive, noted for future reference.
edit3: I did test the impaler first, so no chance that I switched the weapon and booster came off and I just didn't recast it. I did several tests and got similar results each time.

Okay, what move are you doing?

buster or crusher -- whatever you name it

There are two different delay classes associated with Buster. One delay class works for PA and the other for S.

The one for spear is 4 frames long and has delays 300, 300, 150, 150 = 900ms
The one for PA is 5 frames long and has delays 300, 300, 150, 150, 150 = 1050ms

This means PAs are about 15% slower doing buster than spears. I think that falls in line with your calculations.

EDIT: Or maybe it's the other way around. Regardless, it fits somehow.

Interesting, thanks Fiel.

Has to be the pa one is faster.
Doesn't really make a difference since buster is a non-issue at most bosses but it's still an interesting little tidbit.
As long as that difference in delay doesn't appear in other attacks it's a non-issue at least. Can you probe into some other attacks and see if the same applies to them?
