I don't get this Google IME thing. I downloaded and installed it, but I didn't set it as my default IME. How do I use it? On my language bar, it only has the same thing it had before I installed the Google IME thing.

Go to your regional settings, keyboard, and check if Google IME is under Japanese.
Also, retying the sentence to see what it does for me.

Also, difference between Google IME and microsoft is that it recognizes words and names better with context. When you type out a whole sentence and hit enter at the end, all the kanji placed in should be what you were trying to get.
Also, names. Typing in れみり gives me レミリア・スカーレット automatically, saving me the time needed to type it.

Interesting. I wonder if the auto-search thingy (I forget what it's called) works in JMS. The thing where it starts searching for what you're looking for, even though you're not finished typing it.

It does change priority based on usage. The more you use alternate inputs, the more it picks those out for you. When you start using Google IME more, you'll see. It's really good. It's more based on your overall usage than most recent usage.
Also, there's a download pack made here. It works in Microsoft IME as well, but it's easier to install with Google. If you want that stuff ┐(ﾟдﾟ)┌

Yeah, I've known about Facemark.jp for a few years now. That's where I get most of my dictionary's entries from.
