I know. Around $70 for some of these games is unbelievable for a handheld device. Even Xbox 360/PS3 games average around $60-70.

Rofl. 3DS is dead to me until there's a price drop. They're selling the system for nearly as much as a console and then the games are MORE than any console game. There's a reason the DS is so popular; because it's cheap. $40 a game is perfect for what you're getting. I'm not going to spend $70 for most games that won't even offer ~30 hours of play.

My thoughts exactly. I don't even know if I wanna get a 3DS at all until late into the year. These prices are freaking ridiculous, hell even my parents are shocked. I don't even wanna know the price of the 3DS handheld itself...

Here's some PSP games; here's DS games. (Note the discounts)

So they're closer to PSP prices than DS prices... which is exactly what Nintendo's been saying. So expect $40 here.

The system, yes. It's not the cartridges are anything special.

And uh, Nintendo's main audience right now is casual, right? Why would they price something so highly that no one could afford it?
