This was a weired thing that happend on maple today, when i went lmpqing.

I had a couple stalkers, but they were nice stalkers. Not like.. annoying or anything. If they were annoying, I'd either fake afk or ... KS (which I rarely do <_<). Sorry to hear about this though, though I chuckled a bit.

Back in early 2006, I had a real problem with TM copycats/stalkers. Honestly, and I have no idea why. Sure, I was one of the few "high" leveled Rangers back then, and I was fairly well-known from SW + hanging out in Nath ch1...but I still didn't understand it.

I literally had this one girl (I can't even remember the IGN she used, but it was a nameTM type) that sent me some really creepy whispers. She claimed I knew who she was and blah. It was freaky. When I stalked her back, she always logged off. Eventually she just disappeared (thankfully). Sad

The worst is when hackers take on my TM. I've had a couple bad cases where people associated me with some people with TM in their name that were hacking/scamming/general idiots, etc. -_- Now that is retarded. I always end up having to argue my case and state that the only TM's I'm associated with are SwordTM and MagicTM (real life best friends, btw).

There was this guy that PMed me in-game like 1.5 years ago, and was like "OMFG YOU KNOW (a full name)?"
It was the name of this kid in my school, one grade lower than me.

I was like o_____o

And then he started trash talking (name), spamming me with that for awhile.
I track him, he's on ch1 Maple Training Camp, and he logs off.
Then this other char whispers me (also in Training Camp) saying he was (name) and asked me if he knew me.
And started spamming me again saying he knew where I lived or something.

...
I logged off and went to Bera for a couple hours, and then didn't play again for a week.

Lol. You act like you're the only one who wanted "TM" by their name. Due to the nature of MS not allowing ALT Codes, "TM" is as close as they can get.

As for me, I never get stalkers because I don't spend my time on MS trying to "get known" or "popular."

Lol Your posts are always so arrogant. What's your problem?

Do you really think TM is a common name in MS? Because it isn't. There have never been many people who include it in their name, and my friends and I were definitely some of the very first people to. We started when there was only Scania and Bera, and we were the only ones with it.

I know there's some other people who probably like the TM thing just as much as I used to, and that's great. I wasn't saying anything about that. The people who like it just like I do most likely include it in their name without even knowing about me or others who have done the same.

I was talking strictly about cases where it was done to target me or ended up coming back to negatively affect me. In the case of the stalkers I've had, they deliberately added TM to their name with the purpose of bothering and harassing me. Every time I'd find them, they'd end up being some stupid 1x or lower-leveled person, who'd never get any higher than that. I wonder what their character was made for. And maybe it just so happens the people that scam and hack who put TM in their name don't know me at all - but because I was one of the very first people to do so, people assume it's still me doing those bad things, just because of the TM.

After having to deal with that, you honestly think it's wrong of me to lay at least some amount of "claim" to the TM thing? I never proclaimed it as mine or even asked to be associated with it. But I became well-known just by starting this game early and making it farther than most people back then. I never once tried getting "known" and definitely not "popular." I couldn't care less about crap like that. I have no idea why people would waste time stalking and harassing me, but it used to happen.

You completely misinterpreted my post, and you ended with an even more off-base assumption. Almost all of these people that have been harassed or had stalkers weren't spending their time on MS trying to "get known" and "popular" - they were just playing the game they enjoy.
