You've always been able to find Epic/Unique potential items from monsters.
Its just extremely rare.

You always could, but the probabilty is (was?) low.
Since drops are all server-sided, I doubt Fiel could tell us anything about the probabilities being changed.

If you are insinuating that you can't find items from drops that are already epic or unique in GMS right now, you are wrong. Hard to tell what you want to ask with this post really.

You make it seem like finding an item from a monster and potential scrolling an item are both different. But it's exactly the same.
When you magnify a potentialed item though, there is always a chance it can come out Epic or Unique.
