Make website recognise game folder? Click game and nothing happens? - Guitarist17 - 2011-01-05 Well since when trying to install the game I get the error 40 message EVERY TIME (on 3 different computers) I've had to resort to trying to run the game directly from the folder instead of installing it. Also, when I try to launch the game through the GameLauncher, the HShield runs successfully but then nothing happens. I've had this happen previously where I had the message "MapleStory has stopped working" but not this time. This time just nothing happens. Any ideas? Make website recognise game folder? Click game and nothing happens? - Jamie_Kurosawa - 2011-01-05 The Run as Admin issue is a permissions problem. There is a quick and easy fix for it. Open Control Panel, User Accounts, click Change User Access Control settings, and lower it to disabled, off, or never notify. Restart your PC afterwards and everything will run correctly. UAC places even an administrator account in a limited user mode when enabled. I recommend turning it off. Make website recognise game folder?
