My Evolving Ring Disappeared? - Punch - 2011-01-03
[COLOR="black"]I checked everywhere.. EVERYWHERE..
I only have one character, so it's not on any other characters..
It's not in storage, I only have 4 slots..
It's not in my shop..
It's absolutely, positively, NOWHERE! And I don't know how or why it's gone
There's no MTS in the server..
And no one else knows my info but me!
WHERE DID IT GO!!!
This has happened to 3 other people I've talked to as well, what the hell is going on?
Is Nexon deleting rings from people or something?
I need a solution

You know Nexon... they are horrible with rings (Resistance Ring anyone?). Evolving Ring event worked well. Too well for Nexon...

You know Nexon... they are horrible with rings (Resistance Ring anyone?). Evolving Ring event worked well. Too well for Nexon...

Buying a new one IS a solution, definitely, yes..
But why should I? I followed Nexon's event rules, and completed the event perfectly. And now my ring is gone? I went through a lot of trouble to get a ring on ONE character, only one.. I only needed one.
By alot of trouble, I just mean that, I had to pull a few strings to logg on some days for the hour, but besides that..
Life isn't fair, yes. But I'd like to know what the hell is going on, atleast..

Well, I wasn't being totally serious about buying a new ring. At least not yet. If you're 100% sure that your ring disappeared (check the NPC darksyte said, even if you don't use remote stores), you should first submit a ticket to Nexon customer support and then hope for the best. Meanwhile you might want to try to buy another ring while they're cheap (if you're rich) and then resell it when you get the original ring back (although buying a new ring might make Nexon think that you got your original ring back and ignore your ticket).
You might want to check Nexon forums too... if you're not the only one having this problem, you should find clues about what happened there (someone probably have a random theory about what happened)

Maybe you have a friendship ring covering over it? Or some type of CS ring? I know I had a small panic when I equipped an aura ring and it went over my level 17 ring. I thought it had disappeared.

I have no CS rings, I checked my Equips and even equipped every single equip in my inventory, to check if I wasn't hallucinating.
This is, bizarre.

Not sure how big your inventory is, but did you try scrolling up/down? Sometimes people "lose" things that way.
Additionally, everything else is there, right? No indication that your account has been compromised in anyway, and that the ring is the only thing missing?

Yes, only my Level 17 Evolving Ring is gone. Everything else on my account is unchanged, my account has not been compromised.

I submitted a ticket, gonna have to wait for their response of course..
In the meantime, maybe I should just stop raging about it and move on?
Should I buy a new ring? I could just replace the ring with one of those Resistance Rings, right? I'm gonna make a Mechanic anyways..
(And can't you only equip either an Evolving/Resistance Ring, not both on at the same time?)
