I found a silver plate while i was leveling my to be mechanic, is this something new? Because I have never found a refined plate from a mob.

They usually only drop from very high dungeony monsters like gatekeeper or thanatos.
Also bosses drop refined gems alot like jr balrog.
However, I don't think i've gotten one from A LOW LEVEL monster~

Hm... Well, congrats on finding something refined from a low level monster. I'm thinking, stuff like this could end up being somewhat useful come Chaos patch.
(According to EllinForest forums, to forge a Dark Angelic Ring (+6 to all stats, equip effect gives +5 ATK/M.ATK), you need 20 Lidiums, 20 Wisdom Crystals, 20 LUK crystals, 10 Advanced Item crystals, and 10 of some item introduced with the Chaos patch. Who knows what you'd need the Silver Plate for?)

does that ring have slots btw? just wanna know (: so i can stock up on crystals

Honestly unless you are farming the crystals, buying them would be a waste because mining makes it super easy to get everything.
On-topic: I guess the silver plate must be a super rare drop from that wine bottle monster or else more poeple would have talked about it when the resistance patch went live.

they just need another box event like the ones they did for the return of the adventurer patch. I opened hundreds of boxes (and had hundreds given back to me thanks to rollbacks
), enough to have 2-3 ore mules full of stuff to refine. Pretty cool to have refined drops though o_O
