When you release a mob, it doesn't do anything but move around for 20 seconds then dies.
I was wondering if there is anything specific for it to be used for. Would anyone know?

They pretty much do nothing. lol
However, there is a video of a Wild Hunter at Lionheart Castle that summoned some Warewolves that retaliated when the monsters there attacked it. No one is sure whether or not the Warewolves actually did damage, though.

If they act like Allied mobs [Just like the alien stage 1 allied suited mobs that ran around and died while pretending to attack] then it's probably broken. =(

Yes I'm very sure they did damage. I weakened one monster then released the one I "caught", it showed damage to both the mob itself and my summon.
And with that both of them died. lol.

Not all too practical except for people that want to scare random low levels with a Thanatos or something. Which is something I'd actually like to see.
