I'm torn. - Magus - 2008-09-17 I have been using RM2k3 for 5 years now, and I just got RMVX, the latest one in the series. I don't know what I want to do, the battle system and UI in 2k3 is much better in my opinion, but VX supports ruby scripting, which gives it nearly limitless potential. I have over 470mb of resources for 2k3, and more then 3/4ths of that is useless with VX. I don't know what I want to do; VX is so much better looking, and with Ruby Scripts I can make a mock ATB... but it kinda feels like I need to trick VX into doing what I want it to.... It doesn't help that 2k3 hates my desktop PC and refuses to play MP3s any more... Or that VX requires me to convert my MP3s into .OGGs.... (Every fucking conversion program costs money and only the trial is free.) I'm torn. - Kanyewong - 2008-09-17 O.O RMVX supports mp3s doesn't it? In my personal opinion RMXP, is the best, it has the most resources, best scripts and theres many styles of tilesets and charsets. In rmvx you can only use one tileset. >.> I'm torn. - Magus - 2008-09-17 Kanyewong Wrote:O.O RMVX supports mp3s doesn't it?It supports some MP3s, but .OGGs are more compatible. Anyway, I used RMXP for a bit, and I really didn't like it; as for having the most resources I sincerely doubt it. |
