Minecraft so far for me. - Solarboy - 2010-12-21
So. I start out, having no idea of what to do. I finally figure out how to destroy stuff.
I thought "Hey, I will build a house with dirt blocks"
After gathering about 100 of them. The night came. Oh boy I didn't expect anything, first a zombie came, I magically killed it with my bare hands, then a freacking skeleton with a bow starts shooting me and I die and loose everything I have.
...
I started on a new world. This time I searched for a tutorial on youtube, now I knew how to do everything.
So, I dig up my mini house, I even made a bed and all, the night comes, and I'm safe from the zombies and all that stuff. Finally I decide to explore the mines of this random rare world. THEN!
The electricity dies for some reason, and my computer turns off.
I lost it all.
...
What a fun game this is.

wait till you play with mods dear god. I have an entire town populated by mob hunters and miners. My main base is carved into a mountain overlooking a large lagoon. Under the watchful eye of my mountain manor lies a small quaint town. My settlers have yet to arrive. To the East lies a vast desert where desert bandits regularly try to raid along with the normal rouge and their archer counterparts. Caves liter the landscape and many i suspect go as far as the lava layers. I just finished quenching a forest fire. Stupid fire ogre's and flamewriaths

There's a program called cartograph which allows you to get a map of your world :]
Helps if you're lost.
