So... I want to play the portal demo.

BUT IT DOESN'T F'UCKING LET ME DO IT!!!!!

When I pass through the first portal, it crashes. It. F'ucking. Crashes.

I've heard (or read...) that you need a nvidia graphics card to play it. I have an Intel® Calistoga Graphics Controller. It's a laptop so I'm kinda f'ucked up. Rolleyes

I'm pretty sure I tried on a laptop with an ATI Radeon X2000 (or some number like that) and didn't work either.

Do you really need a nvidia graphics card to play it? D: I have no choice? Am I stuck to not playing Portal ever unless I buy the Orange Box for PS3? (Which I'm pretty sure I won't get) I will have to play Portal 2 without ever being able to play the first one? Frown

Odd, Portal IS a pretty old game....not sure why you'd need a nVIDIA graphics card...

Oh I had this problem! I forgot what I did to fix it though... Sorry about the lack of help. I remember using the FAQ though, if it matters.
