This is written in future tense, which means the person writing did not yet have a BB Client to poke into. They were speculating.

The Starcraft crowd is older than the Maple crowd, so there are bound to be more people who have the technical knowledge to make hacks. On top of that, Starcraft is insanely popular while Maplestory is still out played by WoW.

Granted JMS is a different version, but at the heart BB is still BB. All the hackers need to do is find a Chinese guy that speaks English and they'll be set.
