Bless Post-BB (For GMS only) - TKWizard - 2010-12-09
I've been thinking about my Cleric build in GMS and I was looking at the bless skill and how much chaos it would cause if it was used in parties..
So I was wondering if I should keep my bless level at ZERO and put the points into HA instead. This is just my opinion, but I worry it might come back and bite me in the butt in the future.
I know in KMS that Bless is actually a useful skill as not many pots give over 15 atk/matk..
However in GMS... Here are my reasons why Bless should not be used.
- There are pots that give 20 matk or more
- LOTS of attack pots give more than 15 attack
- Accuracy is useless
- WDef and MDef it gives is negligible, and is easily replaced by Magic Armor.
So what do you think?

Magic claw on 2 mobs is stronger than holy arrow though.

It also cancels Rage, Dragon Blood, etc. - all the buffs that give +atk and don't stack (and most of them are more than 15 atk)

I take the Bless and recast my Medi over it, boosting the Bishop's damage as well. Don't really see it as a problem as both buffs last so long. The bonuses don't do too much but they're better than nothing, and all of those buffs can be easily recast.

I think it would just end up causing a lot of problems at bosses and such, but when you're on your own or partied with someone who needs some more accuracy and/or defense it could prove to be helpful.
Wizard Elixers and Energizer Drinks easily overpower the Magic Attack it provides though, so if you wanted some extra damage when training you'd have to be re-using attack pots every time you'd cast Bless
Training with another mage who used meditation wouldn't be a problem since both skills can be easily recasted
