So, the sale is almost done and I doubt I'll grab any Pam Songs even if they come out in the last sale.
I have NX to buy 46 cubes.
I had planned to cube all my things to 3% str and then if I had extra cubes, go for more.
Things I have with potential:
Overall, shoes and cape: 3 line worthless (the cape I'm wearing is 3 att 10 STR but I made the math and 3% str is a little better, at least with post BB formula)
Helmet: got 2 scar hats to potential with the cube frags
earrings: 3 line Epic with 6% str
Knuckle: 2 line rare with 14 att bonus for now.
Belt/mask: Nothing

Now I'm not sure what should I do... my options are:
a) cube 1 by 1 until they reach at least 3% str
b) throw all cubes in weapon looking for 30/20% boss.
It seems to me that best easy bonus on knuckle is 14 att, so that's why I kept it.
Anyway, suggestions?

In my limited experience, that's not enough cubes to get a unique item, but it is enough to make about 4-5 rare items have 3% str that didn't used to (and 1 of them will probably turn epic)

In order of priority I'd probably start cubing the ones that are worthless 3 lined, until they get any str bonus (even +str), then switch to the next useless, etc. Once all your potential items have some kind of str bonus, go back to the ones which are less good (eg. +5 str) and try to cube them up to % str.

That's what I thought, it's just that there's so many people that got NX for the sale and ended up cubing, that there's more unique items around, and people are like "yeah it took me 10 cubes" so I got tempted, but in the end it's just silly.

We really should have (or someone should start) a "How Should I Cube My Items" thread, because I am about to hijack the thread for advice too.

But before then, what ^^^ said makes a lot of sense, rather than try to hit the home run and whiff (Unique, 30% Boss), perhaps moving incrementally toward great gear is the best approach to take.

I just forged a 12 INT, 10 LUK Varuna and Potential revealed two-lines....but...it's Epic. LUK crystals are rare and expensive enough that I cannot just go out and buy a stack of them to try and refine another 20 Advance ones. I have but maybe one Advance left (in the form of 14 Intermediate). I still have no gloves or shoes with potential (just returned, left prepotential). Forge another overall and sell if 3-lined or do something with the one I have?

or you could buy 3lined equips that starts with 3% str on it, doesnt cost that much

"yeah it took me 10 cubes"

Keep in mind that for every one bragging like this there could be 10 others who used 50 cubes, got nowhere, and aren't talking about it.

I'm doing it like Stereo says. Getting each item to 3%, then each item Epic and at least 3%, then try for all items 6%, and so on.

If you do decide to concentrate on one item at a time, start with tradeable common like earrings or cape. You are more likely to get good bonuses because there are fewer bonus types available, and if you get something godly but for the wrong stat, you can sell it for mucho mesos.

Well, and dont forget about the lvl of the Equipment and the higher potentialbonuses.
I would try to start cubing "High lvl / bad potentialed" gear first.

It makes no real sense to cube your lvl 0 wedding ring in the first place, try to start of with your highest gear.
Lvl 121+ then 71+ then 31+ and so on.
