My Hero currently has 80 base DEX.
BB patch's accuracy formula completely does away with the need for this DEX, so I was going to reset as much of it as I could afford (hoping for cheap AP resets on Black Friday, etc).
But now the Restructuring is changing the way accuracy works, again. So will I need my DEX after all?
If I reset all my DEX into STR, I stand to gain about 6.5% to my damage range.
But what do I stand to lose?
That really depends on just what the Restructured accuracy formula is. Will the accuracy I get from Mastery, BoF, and random gear bonuses be enough for all practical purposes, or will I have to seek out equipment scrolled for DEX and/or with accuracy potential, possibly losing out on STR or ATT scrolling/potential?
My gut (and my wallet) are saying "Don't reset."

Don't reset and use one of the two high-dex 2h swords...
Speed + Higher weapon multiplier damage = win for Onyx Apples...
Also, if you don't want to spend money, just don't!

er, no, 1h sword + shield for speed and double the potential
And I'm going to spend money anyway, the question is whether I spend it on cubes or AP resets.
But wait, I think that answers my question. Cubes can give me a much bigger damage boost than 6.5%. Admittedly it would be additive, not multiplicative, but still.

The question should be how OCD you are about it. To me 80 Dex would sting just looking at it regardless of cubes being more economical in terms of power growth.

I'm clearly not very OCD about it, or I wouldn't still be lugging those 80 dex around, about 2 years after I learned it was way too much.
But I see your point. It will keep bugging me (unless the Restructuring, or some later change, suddenly makes Auto-Assign DEX a really good idea).

Yea you might wanna hang on to it til then at least. I have a feeling they will make it at least somewhat useful, because to me the new acc system aint very thought through. Also, if my memory serves, the 8 slot (?) Lionheart warrior weapons require dex.
