Where'd they get 766 from?
I got a 34 on my ACT, 36 being perfect.

Its out of 2400. Hence why I was making a joke about CSU Fullerton making this disastrous typo. xD

Quote:...so that their eligibility index comes in or around 3200 SAT.

It's the eligibility index, not your actual SAT score they're talking about.

SAT eligibility index:

(Your GPA ) x 800 + Your SAT Total

ex: 3.0 GPA with a 1000 (500 on math and 500 on critical reading.... since they dont want to count writing)

SAT eligibility index: 3x800 +1000 = 3400.

Thus you'd pass their requirement getting an average sat score with a B average GPA.

Edit:

For those interested...

Act index:
(Your GPA ) x 200 + (10 x ACT Comp)

Cool.

4.0 with 800 800 gets you 3200+1600 = 4800, where are you getting the extra 770?

(Your GPA ) x 800 + Your SAT Total
4.2 * 800 + 2210

Ah, you did the math reading and writing. Got me confused since I was still talking in terms of the OP's pic's requirements that dont do writing. Okay, thanks for the clarification

I don't understand your US way of grading. : (

You have to be beyond godlike! - Russt - 2010-11-06

lol. Reminds me of a poster in one of my school's hallways that lists middle 50% ranges of test scores for a number of schools, and says that MIT's middle 50% for SAT Writing is 660-850 or something similar.

Does this include weighted GPAs?

Glad to see yet another harmless thread derailed with academic e-penor flaunting.
