Region codes. - Lana♥ - 2008-09-10 Hi I was wondering if anyone here knew how to change your computers region code to 0? Currently mine only plays region 2 dvds. I was told there was a way to change it but I don't trust random websites found on google! Region codes. - XTOTHEL - 2008-09-10 I think you can only change your region code a few times, so changing it to play onek DVD and changing it back isn't a good idea...unless it is something really worth while. Is it possible to try to obtain the media by other means? Region codes. - Bacon - 2008-09-10 Most drives only allow you to change it 5 times. So, I'll suggest that you just bypass DVD Regions. I'm not one to help people bypass things, but I find that the DVD Region thing is just stupid. One of the things you can do you bypass the DVD Region code is to burn a copy. I'd use a tool like ImgBurn and then just select the All-Regions. If you're too lazy to burn a disk, then you should just play the DVD with the VLC Player. I'm pretty sure that can play region protected DVDs. |
