Log Out Gift - Goals - 2010-10-30
After talking to a friend about log out gifts, I was informed that you can get log out gift if you don't go on MS for a certain period time. One friend says 1 month. Another says 1 week. How long is this wait exactly? I know for sure it isn't random, because when I relogged on the accounts that I haven't touched for 2 months+, I got log out gifts on ALL of them.
Is the log out prize based on level and account age as well? I tried resetting the prize by Ctrl-Alt-Del closing the Maple client. On my level 16 characters I never got Vicious Hammer nor Owl of Minerva. I might just be unlucky, IDK.

no idea on how long but prizes are random my lvl 34 gets maple life stuff usually, while my friend's lvl 35 got a hammer

I think my level 17 got a pet once. But I reseted the prizes at least 30 times without getting hammer on the level 17. It might be that I need a level 30/31 or higher character. Just a guess.

You're unlucky, I've seen hammers on my level 10 mules. Also, as for the time, I got another gift 3 days after I got another one, oddly enough.

I only got one during an event; in JMS I think the window of opportunity was one month and I'm not sure how many times you could've gotten it, but it's a rare occurrence.

I've noticed that if you got the gift when it first came out you keep getting one, if your account didnt get one when it first came out you never get a gift. Over on SW people say they get a gift even on active accounts. I dont know if this is true cause the accounts that get it for me are ones I log into every month or so.

To get a log-out gift you have to not have logged in for around 2~3 weeks if I'm not mistaken. I got the gift last week when I hadn't logged in since the beginning of this month.

This is false. My "main" account never got a gift until the 3rd stage of the visitor event.

I believe 1+ weeks is more likely since like I said I got another gift just 3 days after another one. I've also gotten ones just under 2 weeks on other characters.

Hm, well come to think of it the Maple Admin says ''Come back in 3 days'' or something along those lines. So I guess it can be less than a week.

I would bet on 1-2 weeks to get a gift. I've gotten a log out gift like every time i've been on this past month and i've only logged on twice. Got hammers both times, used it on my cent.

That might have something to do with it, I got one on logout after getting my 3 zombie rings, and I never play maple anymore.
Last one I got was on my i/l mage who also never gets played.

Funny enough, I just got the "Log Out Gift" on my main account last night. I haven't logged in for the past 2 weeks or so, so I'm willing to bet 1-2 weeks, as TakeBacker said, is the timeframe that allows the gift system to activate. I got 3 AP Resets on my lvl 30 FM mule, so a little HP washing on my Paladin ftw.

I've noticed that if you miss it one or two times, it gives you another shot. Now, I haven't touched that account in 4 months until recently. Level 45. Idk, whatever works. It generally gives me a character face/hair/eye change option, a 2x drop card or a weapon cover-up. Idk if that accounts for anything.

The last one I got on my almost unplayed bishop was a VIP hair, a huge step up in quality of prize over my I/L's prize was (who had been used a little more frequently at the time I won on that account).

i have an account that i used as storage before, it was PW locked for a little while thats greater than 3 months. my main doesn't get one and i hadn't been online for 2 weeks. i don't feel like trying for tit though.
