The Beginning:
The neon lights illuminate this sinful city in a harsh glow. It wasn’t always this way, for a long time the neon lights had been a sign of the great prosperity of Deckton. It was said you could gamble your life away and not care at all because it was such a fun and happy place. Unfortunately that peace and happiness was about to be shattered. For there were some who couldn’t abide by such a cheery place, and they had decided to bring it all down. And so the town of Deckton goes about it’s business, not knowing the horror about to begin.

Day 0:
The shrieks of a hysterical red card were heard throughout the town. It appeared as though someone had beheaded the Crimson King. A short distance away was the Scarlet Queen, who had apparently discovered the King's death, and quite overwrought, commited suicide with some sort of poison. Inspector Burgundy Jack arrived on scene shortly therearfter and confirmed that the beheading was indeed murder, rather than an unfortunate card shaving accident. It was a grisly start to the morning, but the day would hold other deaths as well. Across the town, on the darker side of Deckton some black card had been sliced into eight million pieces, or perhaps more amusingly, made into confetti. Though the Inspector couldn't quite find the humor in that as it made identifying the poor card nigh impossible. Added to that, some fool who thought they were some kind of flying Ebony Ace had jumped off the roof. At least he knew the jumping one was a suicide, but the Inspector already had a full plate with the Crimson King's murder, and as soon as he heard the news, a hollow pit formed in his stomach. Somehow deep down, he just knew that as bad as today was, things would become much worse before they had any hope of being better. But he had work to do, and little time for such depressing thoughts. As he trudged back to his office, night fell, and an uneasy peace settled upon the town of Deckton. The entire town was holding it's breath, waiting for the next day to dawn while the neon lights lent a far harsher glow than they previously had. Though cards continued to have fun well into the night, it was not without a few glances over their shoulders and a kind of manic gleam in their eyes that didn't quite hide the nervousness inside. So begins the start of Night 0.

Night 0 Ends and Day 1 Begins. Result PMs have been sent out.

Day 1:

Quote:The Daily Shuffler:
We have reports from an anonymous source that there were two shady characters near the crime scene of the freshly murdered Crimson King. Though the Red Group mourns it's beloved leader, Inspector Burgundy Jack has sworn to stop at nothing to catch the killer or killers. Any information that might lead to the identities and capture of the killer or killers should be forwarded to him immediately.

The day had dawned on Deckton, a surprisingly cheery morning after the shock and horror of the previous day. Most of the cards actually thought things were looking up, while there was some unusual deaths the previous day, today there seemed to be no deaths at all. Of course that was soon to be crushed as Inspector Burgundy Jack had called all the cards to the Heart Club. It served as an informal meeting place between the Red and Black Groups.

The Inspector looked out at the small crowd of cards, look for any suspicious behaviour. He noted one card seemed oddly silent even as the other cards shuffled quietly amongst themselves, but he had more pressing matters to get into for the moment. Thus he adressed the gathered cards,
Quote:"I have reason to believe that last night is the last night of peace we will have for quite some while. An anonymous source who witnessed the murders has said this is only the beginning. Even worse, they stated that the killer or killers are here amongst us!"
The cards shuffled wildly, but eventually they settled down.
Quote:"I know this comes as a surprise to many of you, but I am sure that they are right. We must take action before any others are killed. We will have a vote, a vote to send someone to the scrap pile. It will not be easy, but it must be done."
And with that, Day 1 had begun.

On the other hand, if everyone [vote] no lynch, someone will get godkilled. There's risk no matter what now.

No, everyone can vote No Lynch and there's no penalty, that clause is there to prevent people from not wanting to vote first and having an entire day go by with no one posting any votes. No lynch is still classified as a vote after all.

We already noticed that no lynch doesn't work on night 0 on the last Mafia game, and that it's more productive to get a random kill than nothing.
