As hp increase skill in some jobs is changed to % forumla,

Will there be any hp difference between characters that is created before big bang patch and after?

What about jobs that does not have hp increase skills?

Also, is hp gained due to hp washing before big bang patch affected after the patch?

HP totals for existing characters will stay the same right now, so buccs + warriors will have more on average than their postBB brethren. HP washed characters won't lose any of their HP at all, from what I understand.
Characters w/o HP increase skills (Not sure if there are any, too lazy to check) will just keep their preBB HP.

No. New buccs and warriors will have slightly more HP than pre-BB created ones. The Hp upon level up formula is changed to compensate for the removal of the increase HP skill, hence they get the moment they change job to swordsman or brawler instead of when ever they would have gotten it maxing the skill pre BB. It is correct most other classes will retain their old standard HP gain though, and no HP for any class will be changed automatically with BB.

which means that warriors get +3-4 levels of HP more than their pre BB counterparts, and BB-Bucs get 30-33 levels of HP on their pre BB counter parts Sad

At least i have HB now...

Pre-BB Pirate HP on level up gain: 22-26
Post-BB Pirate HP on level up gain: 22-26

Pre-BB Infighter-Viper HP on level up gain: 22-26 (+30)
Post-BB Infighter-Viper HP on level up gain: 52-56

But you don't get max HP increase all at once at level 30, so it's not the same. Post-BB will have a slight, though negligible, advantage in HP.

The point of my post was that it's 3 levels of a difference in HP gain, not 33.

So, thieves, bowmen, and mages retain the same hp gain pre and post big bang?

Yes, as well as slingers as far as I know. Thieves get a 2nd(?) job skill that passively buffs HP by 10% and bowmen get one at 4th job though.

Which makes me wonder, if a 4th Job Bowman maxes this skill, they won't get the effect of it until they level up?

Huh?
It's a passive buff so it's just [Your HP * 1.10]. Except other classes get it earlier.

Think of it as the same deal as the Rex's earrings. You get 1% per point in the skill or something like that.

HP concerns. - MetaSeraphim - 2010-10-24

The HP bonus on level up is built into warriors now, but the bonus from adding a point into HP is left out, correct?

Oh, good then, thanks. I thought it was like a warrior's HP Increase, which, now that I think about it, doesn't really make sense now. XD

Nope, both the AP bonus and the level up bonus from max HP increase is now inherently part of the regular Warrior formulas now.

I'm actually planning to make an HP spearman post BB in order to see the HP differences between that character and my existing HP spearman... :o Other than that, I haven't really thought about the HP differences after BB hits...

Ah, alright. I read somewhere on this forum that warriors only got around 22 HP when adding points into HP. Good to hear that isn't true though.

HP concerns. - Random_Overlord - 2010-10-25

From equips, 2 x cht necklaces + rex earrings + czak helm = 40% more hp. Plus marksmanship + Decent hb = 90% total hp.

Theres also potential stats as well that could add to it.

HP concerns. - Chainspark - 2010-10-25

You're only able to wear one CHTP due to it being one of a kind ^.^
But still getting decent hp seems loleasy now.
