difference between classes post BB. - Adramelech - 2010-10-22

so from what I've seen since BB is that any class can be a very effective damage dealer so long as they have good equips.

in essence all the classes are the same and only equips matter.

so my question is with equal equips ( value wise ) what class is best for bossing and what class is best for training.

basicly what is the degree of differance between jobs when it comes to dpm/dps w.e

supposing their all given the same amount of mesos to fund them.

I am confused by your post. The first part states "all classes are the same and only equips matter", then you go on to ask which class is the best at something and the degree of difference between jobs? I'm not sure what you're looking for here. You seem to be contradicting yourself.

I guess he's saying classes appear to be more balanced after big bang. So with a limited amount of funding, what class would be most practical for training and bossing?

"Post BB classes appear to be more balanced, however it is obvious that there will still be a class which will top the rest when it comes to bossing or when it comes to training. I would like to know which fits one or both of these categories best."

Something like that?

Wasn't the entire point to have everyone to become balance anyways? I'm sure there are classes that come out with a little bit more damage, but the major difference between classes now is the play style, no?

Well, since all classes do about the same damage now (within 20% damage of each other with equal equips, wild guess, but still quite accurate..), I would say:

For Soloing:
>> More HP = Best (unless you want to spend 3000 dollars on HP washing)

For Squad bossing:
>> Class doesn't matter anymore, since Sharp Eyes and Thorns don't really have that much impact on the DPS anymore, More HP = Best, because dieing squad members because of low HP = fail.

So, just go with a good damage-tank class now, and you're done:
- All warriors (including Aran)
- Shadowers
- Mages / Evans
- Wild Hunter (Bowmaster with loads of HP)
- Bishops (little lower damage, but also a tank on damage like Mages)
- Buccanneers / Mechanics (still maybe lower on HP)

Rest of the classes are low HP, they're all good, but still weak on damage taking, unless you spend a -LOT- of money on HP washing...

But again, it's all about NX Cubing / equips.... +500% stats (e.g. 5000 str vs 1000 str), decides who's strongest.
