Glaze and Blaze Capsules post BB - FanaticRat - 2010-10-12

I was looking in the adventurer skill revamp thread and noticed that it said that Glaze and Blaze capsules are no longer needed to get the full damage of Ice Splitter and Flamethrower, respectively. Does this mean that said items are worthless or that the capsules simply increase the damage of the moves?

Well, if they "simply increase the damage of the moves", then you'll need them to get full damage (similar to how people generally [correctly] assume 4th job AMs will have max elemental amplification, so you wouldn't consider a lvl 30 blizzard with lvl 5 amp full damage for blizzard).
I don't play KMS, and I don't know Korean, so I'm not sure as to what they do, just pointing the above out. It would be helpful if anyone here plays KMS and can find a capsule and give us a translated description or test it if they have a corsair.

I don't actually know if that's 100% correct. I remember reading that a KMS player said they were doing normal damage without the capsules, so I noted that there. Confirmation would be helpful.

I think it's like:
Before: 50% dmg, 100% with capsules
After: 100% dmg, 150% with capsules

These numbers are made up btw.
