Best To Not-so-best

1 : 30% Boss damage
2 : 9% Attack / Total Damage / Stat
3 : 9% Attack / Total Damage / Stat
4 : 9% Attack / Total Damage / Stat

Attack or Total Damage or Stat better?

total damage applies directly to your damage range. attack only applies to the watk you're wearing, not pots or bullets/stars. Additionally, rounding favors total damage even when you're not using attack pots.

if you have a lot of % stat in your other equips, a %stat in your weapon will not be as much additional damage as the other two, since it's additive. For example, if you already have 150% stat on your armor and then add a weapon with 9% more, your actual stat increase is 159/150 = 6%. where as you can't have total damage or attack in your armor so it's a straight out 9% increase.

I'd say
1. boss damage
2. total damage
3. attack
4. stat

but then again I haven't cubed my equips to oblivion yet, so I'm only going by what I've seen other people post. feel free to correct me if I'm wrong

1) 150% to a stat -> 2.50 multiplier to your stat
2) 159% to a stat -> 2.59 multiplier to your stat

From 1) to 2) -> 2.59/2.50 = 1.036 = 3.6% increase to your damage.

eh ... I meant +50% which is not that hard to obtain compared to +150%. For calculation purposes, I turn +50% to 150% in my head. But the point still stands. if you had +150% then it's just that much less of an overall increase
