A thought just occurred to me. Can anyone confirm if Purple Adventure Capes were changed post Big Bang in KMS? Because with the new damage formula, Purple Adventure Capes are going to be out of line with Pink Adventure Capes damage wise (they always were, but at the mage's disadvantage previously.)

KMS doesn't have PuACs.
Should be the same deal as PACs though. They're better at Rare potential level and at lower levels, but for higher character and potential levels it's better to use a 71+ cape. Godly 20+ attack ones can beat a 71+ regular cape at the Unique level, though.

No you would have to be really lucky with chaos scrolls to get a Purple adventurer cape to match a normal 71+ cape with potential. Nothing OP about them, and no need to fix them in any way.

Nah, it still takes something like stacking Epic +% int bonuses for a regular cape to match a 7/8 attack PuAC even at higher levels. 6/3 vs. 4/2 = 3% int difference = about 27 int at my level (150) = about 8 attack.

I was under the impression magic att would be roughly equivalent to w att. My old 8 att Pac was not hard to beat with some % LUK. So magic att must be even better?

If you potentialed your 8 Att PAC for 2% luk, it would be better than a 3% luk cape. Same for 4% luk vs. 6% luk. Go higher than that, though, and the other cape starts to be better.

No, but it does answer the OP's concern.
Clean PuACs have a lot more m.att than clean PACs have w.att (average 7 m.att on purple vs. 2 w.att on pink). Scrolling and potential aside, that represents an imbalance. The question (as I understand it) was whether they would be evened out after BB.

Nothing else had its MA balanced besides the new blessing. So no.

Thanks for the reply, guys. My main reason for writing this is because I traded a Purple Adv. Cape for a Yellow Adv. Cape a long time ago, because it had more intelligence than the m.att/int combination, but now that seems like a stupid move.

I'm still pretty clueless about the potential, since I quit after the hacking epidemic, but I've been reading threads on here about it, so I got the gist of it. I wasn't aware of higher level capes yielding better potentials, though.
