Megaman Online, there is not much known about it yet, but based on the video, it is based in the era that is the fall of robots [robots are characters from the Megaman series, such as Megaman, Bass, Protoman, and Roll] and the rise of reploids [in the video you can see Alia and Signus from MMX5 and above]. The video is pretty epic for Megaman and Megaman X fans. All that is known about this game, is, well, its Megaman, and it is online.

Megaman Universe is a game that will not have its own physical copy, but will be purchasable from Xbox Live, and that playstation shop thing, and I'd imagine wii ware.... Anyway, its just Megaman, but 3D in appearance, same gameplay. But you can play as many characters. Many more will be added, but the current cast is Megaman [Skinny American comic looking Megaman], Rockman [chubby Japanese cartoon style Megaman], Bad Box Art Man

I'll admit that I tend to suck at the megaman franchise as a whole, and I haven't completed a vast majority of the games despite owning them (curse of Willly's castle not saving between stages), but that video gave me chills.

Only thing is.... why create such an important connection of plots in an MMO? I mean sure I'd understand if there was some sort of offline campaign mode if you will, but... I just don't get how that could work.

I must say though, it certainly will be funny to see them actually implement a 3D box-art megaman into game. Granted, there's probably a million already done somewhere on the internet. I never understood why they kept going back and laughing at themselves for that mistake. I'd have figured they'd have wanted to brush it under the rug so to speak.
