I call fake, mainly because a fish that big would be heavy as pomegranate, and he wouldnt be able to hold it out at that angle.

From the angle of the picture, his left arm looks to be a bit long. Who knows, I may have bad judgement or he may have incredibly long arms.

take a closer look, it appears to me he's got the fish resting on his knee as well. look under its head and you can make out the man's knee.

If the water is actually moving in that lake, he wouldn't be able to balance on one foot with a 30 pound fish. Either way, I call fake. Goldfish don't get that big. Period.

Given the perspective and the flow of the fishes body, it is not resting on anything, the stretch of the fishes form is pulled at the points where his hands are.
