Came back to thread, and realized he said Neo Tokyo, not City. I hope you meant Neo City, not sure why you would ask if Neo Tokyo had it since JMS hasn't even got potential yet. Is neo tokyo affected by 10x drop? - Shidoshi - 2010-09-09 Yes, neo city, the one we have in GMS. Sorry bout that. Thats weird, I keep getting loads of equips and good skillbooks from pap. Plus zakum, scar and targa drop more helms. Is neo tokyo affected by 10x drop? - shouri - 2010-09-09 I can guarantee through repeated bossing (killing Nibelung) that the boss is DEFINITELY affected. Before the potential system came out I had only ever gotten potions (it's why I go there anyways). I literally killed Nibelung over and over for 1.5hrs straight. It drops abotu 30 elixirs and maybe 8 Pelixirs. And i stock up on over 1000 elixirs each time I go. After 10x drop started, I've gained a number of scrolls and at least five neo weapons as well as countless numbers of other regular equips which I hadn't gotten at all before. Is neo tokyo affected by 10x drop? - Kalovale - 2010-09-09 I guess I can test this later on Nibelung. The Overlords and crap are affected for sure though. I killed 26 on 2x, 160~ on 1x before the drop rate changed (kept records of kills - as it's Lit-weak I kill them very fast - I would estimate 2 minutes between kills, that being 40 second kill, 80 seconds to get back into the boss map), got 3 weapons and 4 scrolls. I guess I can go back and confirm that the rate is higher. I did go for a few kills post-balance, and found no weapons. But I haven't been killing them in the same numbers. I hope you're right though. Is neo tokyo affected by 10x drop? - Neothisis - 2010-09-09 Talking about Nibelung again, didn't hunt it long enough to find equips, I kept getting a visual error on him that d/ced me after/during it, but the (Power) Elixir and meso drops are increased for sure. Is neo tokyo affected by 10x drop? - Stereo - 2010-09-10 Well, so far so good... 20 kills = 2 equips. If that rate continues it's a big improvement over the old. ![]() Only takes me 17 seconds to down it due to potential and such, so I'm killing them every 65-70 seconds.. I got 510~ Elixirs in 20 kills + 200 P.Elixirs, so it's still around 25 + 10. Meso drops something like 20k per kill (didn't keep close track). Is neo tokyo affected by 10x drop? - Turtally - 2010-09-10 Nibelung basically takes care of all my pot costs now. Wanna grind for 4 hours? Do a few Nibelung runs! Oh, and the equip drop rate is definitely affected. I've gotten around 20 equips from Nibelung, far more than I've gotten from any boss pre-potential |
