Using TV as my monitor..... - Unauthorized Intruder - 2010-09-06

My real monitor was pineapple'd up from overheat, I have to wait for a few days and I'm trying to use 21" TV as my monitor in the meantime. Now, I only see black & white in the TV and I can't see it properly. Anyone has a guide to do so?

That TV is old, anolog TV I think.

In case you're curious, I'm using computer in internet cafe right now.

No, no, from the tv. I imagine you are using the tv in Video or S-Video mode. Right? From the menu of the TV you have to switch color mode from NTSC to PAL or viceversa.

It doesn't have that option.

Guess my TV is older than you thought, no?

How old can it be? Ever since the VHS creation they've had that option.

I think I never see that option before, but I'll try.

In case it doesn't work, is there any way else?

Uh, you could try changing the color settings in Advanced Settings at the Screen Properties window. I don't know.

I think you're better off reading the TV manual but I'm sure you've lost it. Try looking for it on the internet.

Check the Display setting on your Windows.
