For a while now, I've put all of my lower leveled characters all the way down to a level 1 in maple island into a single family and I've planned on linking it up with my main whenever I got the chance (primarily since I don't want to be an untraining burden on anyone). The main reason I'm doing this is so that I can become entirely inactive and at the same time, be able to go anywhere instantly should I come back for a moment to meet up with people again.
A while back I tried to use this skill between two of my alts and it kept saying that the character was not logged in. They were on the same channel. What I want to know, yet will really be disappointed in if true, is do those warps act as a VIP tele stone, or only a regular tele stone. More simply put, can the family skill teleport you across continents.
EDIT: Yes, I'm aware that as things stand now, there is no way back to maple island.

It works like a VIP stone, I've been able to go from Henesys to Magatia. However there are some maps it doesn't work for, and of course you have to be on the same channel.

Ah, good, thanks. I'd swear I was on a normal map at the time, either a world tour or ludi, but it's been so long I've forgotten. I'll try it again whenever I have my laptop updated.

You cant Fam tele to world tour because there are a lot of entrances/exits to it.

I'm pretty sure I've teleported from Henesys to Showa before. When I exited through Mushroom Shrine, I was in Ludi.

As long as the player is in the same family as you, and in the same channel, you can just warp to him from anywhere other than event/quest maps.
I believe that Maple Island trick works.

My Senior has been unable to warp to me while I'm in showa for quite a while. Last time he tried was last week.

Maple Island might be like Mushroom Kingdom or Kerning Square since there's a level restriction. If that's the case, it would count as an event map. All other tutorials are event maps so why not adventurers?

All other tutorials are event maps so why not adventurers?Level restriction has nothing to do with it(it would kick you out of the maps like MK and KS); I've made a couple of Training Center family warp mules for my Islander and he was capable of warping just fine; but characters outside of Maple Island are incapable of warping back.

Hm...would've been able to test out intra-Maple Island warps if we could go to Southperry but that's been disabled for a while now. Perhaps that was to prevent family warping beyond Southperry?
