Yeah that's right. I'm currently playing Pocket Monsters (AKA Pokemon for short) Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow. I recently got them on eBay yesterday and I've gotten so exited to play them. I will be using their Japanese default names for the Pokemon I have right now as well as English names so you guys have a clue what team I'm using.

Whatever.... Anyways, got to Cerulean City (AKA Hanada City (ハナダシティWink) with the Helix Fossil on Green.

Now to begin trading from version to version (I might fill up my Pokedex on all versions, so it's going to take awhile.)

14 years too late to play these games my friend. 14 years too late. I've played those versions when I was like 8 and to this day still have them in my old Gameboy games box collecting dust Tongue

How much did you pay for them?

Playing Pocket Monsters Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow. - FlameChocobo - 2010-08-31

About $65.00 with $4 dollar shipping. That would equal $69.00 on eBay.

I got to Cerulean City (ハナダシティWink on the Blue version and my word Wartortle's level 22. Now to get there on my Yellow version.

Playing Pocket Monsters Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow. - Zalfor - 2010-08-31

Not bad. I probably paid $30 each for em back in the day. I haven't played them in ages, but there's so much I miss about them. The legendary birds, getting all of Eevee's evolutions, trading for Golems and Gengars, beating the Final Four(which I still believe is the HARDEST of all Final Fours), and then finally catching Mewtwo. There's a bunch of little things in that game that remind you why you started liking Pokemon in the first place. No matter how many times I play it, it seems like a whole nother adventure Wink

Good luck on your journey young one. You have invested your hard-earned money wisely.

Are you people insane? I would've sold you my old generation one and two games for like, ten a pop w/ shipping. I can get old Japanese games for dirt cheap for you guys if you could get me US games in exchange :/

Actually, I bought them all with Gold and Silver.

The data file being deleted when you turn the game off on Gold and Silver is pure madness though (I can say that would be the internal battery issue), making them unplayable. Gold and Silver are my least favorite of the series, so I locked them in the box so nobody dares to see it.

Ahh. That happened to me on Crystal.

My Silver Version just crashes my GBC when I attempt to go North from Cherrygrove (or whatever the second town was called).

Sucks, doesn't it.

Good thing Ruby and Sapphire doesn't delete your save file if you turn the game off, even when your internal battery has run dry (Don't know how it happens when the Internal Battery runs dry).

Anyways, I'm at Mt. Moon, and recently caught a Clefairy. Most of my team are low on HP, so that's going to be a problem.

No Escape Rope? (I'm assuming you're low on potions too)

Got through Mt. Moon (Jeez, I was lucky when fighting Jessie and James) on the Yellow version yesterday. Fought Shigeru (シゲルWink/Gary, and recently caught Oddish on Red Version. Trying to catch Abra is annoying, because Teleport is its only move to escape from battle. Maybe I should train my Oddish so it can attack faster than Abra.

I will be fighting the rival on Green, Blue and Yellow.

Flash memory?

I think DMCA protects you from things like that by letting you download digital copies of games you own that cannot be fixed.

Why?

Playing Pocket Monsters Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow. - FlameChocobo - 2010-09-01

Mark Wrote:Why?

Because Red, Green, Blue, and Yellow are my most favorite of the original series.

Fought Shigeru/Gary using my Kameru/Wartortle (Level 22 to 25).

 My reaction

Now I'm going to have to use other Pokemon.
