I played anyways, my guess is that it will take the actual buildings and use them from street view, and im not sure if my address has it done yet.

That was pretty cool, but it seems like all they did was put some pictures over your house on googlemap.

There we a few visual bugs - shadow running down your street is out of proportion, Google Maps images shaking - but it was otherwise amazing.
