Hacking a PS2 - Takebacker - 2010-08-29
I need a new project since i'm going back to college tomorrow. Last time i was bored i decided to hack my wii with homebrew and install many .WADs so i could play some games for free. Now i'm looking at my PS2 and wondering what i can do with it. Anyone know where i can start? o.o

I know exactly what to do, but i am afraid that i will be infracted for mentioning it here.
But yes, you can hack ps2s as long as it isnt one of the new silver slim ones. Part of my job on Project R.0. was to rip the .hack discs and attempt to add new data, this partially involved a hacked ps2.

How would this get you infracted? The "hacking" infraction is mainly for the hacking of maplestory, iirc.

I've been searching around and it seems you can't mod a PS2 without action replay or gameshark, neither of which i have...
I have a fat PS2 and a memory card (8MB) and megaman legends (PS1 game), though.
