I've seen a report on fire tornados. Forgot how it works but it could easily be recreated with the right equipment.

I've actually heard of these things before.
In 1923, Great Kanto, Japan had this terrible earthquake and the awful weather conditions ultimately culminated into a "fire tornado" which killed nearly 40,000 people in a nearby building.
