The only problem is they spawn faster than snipe cooldown. I tried it but still ended up with more aliens than monsters in the map

No, not really. This sort of thing has been seen with numerous event mobs and such, and I never expected a bunch of MMs to band together to help one map at a time in the first place, but it "being useful" doesn't really do much to help us now, does it?

Sorry about that attitude, I just still don't see them fixing the 127 Xbows til after the fact.

I personally find Snipe being much more useful as a Bot-Catcher killer myself, for anyone who bothers with card hunting.
