I think my screen is dead. - Adramelech - 2010-08-21

SO today, I turned on my laptop ( recently formatted ( programs installed are the following : Aion,MaplesStory,WonderKing,Chrome,Flash Player) )
and my screen apears all glitchy. just an array of colors. so I thought at first my screen is dead. ( I don't know how. it was working fine when I turned it off, and I (as far as I know ) was the last person to use it.
I touched the screen to feel if there were any cuts/bumps etc and 70% ish of the screen apeared to work again after touching it. my screen was at the startup repair screen in windows seven.

its a HP Pavilion DV2750ej laptop. ( thats the exact model )

I'm sure I don't have any viruses. only sites I went to were - Basilmarket , Cabal online official forum , Largest Aion fan forum , WK official forum , Deviant art , Ebay , youtube ,megavideo, maplestory.nexon.net , banned story , aion official site and thats about it.
oh and wikipedia. the only files I downloaded were those programs and Images off of DeviantArt for my wallpaper.

a new screen with shipping is like $110 and I still need to replace my laptop's battery. its working on the AC adapter at the moment.

I'd really appreciate some help or insight. I can provide any other information you need..

the last two things I did was . Level my new char to 43 and I was downloading Religulous off of Megavideo. however I canceled the movie download by accident. so yeah. Last thing I did was MS. then turn off pc dirrectly.

If you just reformatted, i would suggest you try to install your graphics drivers. They can be found on the HP Driver website. If the monitor is flickering, or doesnt respond in the way it should... then there should be worry.

Well. I'm using said laptop atm. I suceeded in entering windows. [Image: iqlurr.jpg]

that's how my screen looks atm. and I formatted this pc like 2 weeks ago. I doubt this issue would arise now. but i'll try. Thanks
