AVG and Maple - Hazzy - 2010-08-16 AVG will not stop marking the executable as a virus "Win32/Themida". I know very well what Nexon uses to pack Maplestory, but I guess AVG doesn't. I added the file / folder to Tools->Advanced Settings->Resident Shield-> Excluded Files / Directory Excludes, but it keeps marking it as a virus and deleting it. This is getting annoying. I would have uninstalled AVG two weeks ago, but the guys who fixed my computer keep telling me to use AVG. They get paid for it, so I figured they know better than random websites that tell me to get Avast. how2fix. All the threads I checked said "uninstall AVG". AVG and Maple - OB3LISK - 2010-08-17 Er. My real life friend took my labtop and downloaded AVG and it works fine. But I don't know what he did. I don't have advice I just wanted to say that F4. AVG and Maple - Berzerk - 2010-08-17 I had the same exact problem, down to setting exceptions. I could get it to work so I just uninstalled it. There are many other alternatives you can choose from. I personally started using Microsoft Security Essentials. I'm reading that Avast Anti-Virus is pretty good. There's also Malwarebytes. All of them are free (unless you have an illegal copy of windows for MSE), update and do the job well with little resources. |
