iPhone/Android Application - Sam - 2010-08-11
I have searched briefly and not seen any ideas similar to this, so I figure I'll throw it in.
My idea is not a standalone game, as I have seen Nexon make before for cellphones, or as they have for DS. This would use your 3g/wifi connection to do simple tasks on your gMS account, mainly act as a store remote. The ability to access your mushshop while far away from computer would probably benefit a bunch of people, plus they would profit insanely just by having any application developed under their brand.
As most phones are not well enough equipped to handle a full client, if there actually are any please let me know, that would be out of the picture of course.
Comments on the idea/additions to the application?

They have that in kMS, or something similar to it since I see my Korean friends have a mobile phone next to their name on my buddy list.

I was told it is just that people can send you a message to your mobile phone from in game. I don't think you can send messages back.

I do not see why, if desired, Nexon would be unable to code an application that at base could act as a messaging service. Just like MSN or Google Chat, but with live time on a multi user interface. Integration with the game should be simple.
Then again, they are Nexon.
After that base application, they could have add on features, such as the remote. Again, I see no reason why it would not be doable. I have not used the in game remote feature as of yet, but my concept for the phone would have your character's inventory on the bottom, shop's inventory on the top, allowing to scroll down (Sorry phones without touch screens) and drag and drop into the store to price. Top would display your stores till and the amount of mesos your character is carrying.
So once you open the application it goes to the chat system. Just like MapleStory. You log on, and see people talking. After that, should you choose to pay for extra features, such as the remote, which is the only thing I can think of, you can open them up from inside the base application.
It seems plausible.
