Before Big bang, critical ring. After Big bang the rings looses the critical damage property, so you will have to choose between 2 att 10% (critical ring) crit rate or 3 att 5% crit rate (cruel ring). I'd say it's a no-brainer to get the the critical ring since 1 att is a mediocre difference in the wake of potential system.

Depends on what class too, y'know. Cruel ring would be best for classes without critical enhancing skills like SE or Critical combo. 20% damage is not nothing.
But anyway, OP, I'd say Cruel ring. Shadowers don't really have alot of criticals, and even after BB gives innate critical, the cruel ring will still enhance damage more than the critical ring.

If you ever plan to participate in a party where you might get Sharp Eyes, I'd say Critical.

In my experience on my outlaw, the critical ring's rate is much more stable and for the time being the instant kill property is very useful when you train on higher level mobs.
In my experience on my bishop, the magical ring's stun is extremely useful and the critical rate is sort of negligible since it doesn't activate enough to be counted on.

Meh. 1 WA doesn't make that much of a difference anyway. Guess I'll go for Critical.

Is it really 1%? I thought it was 10%, since it activates alot for me. Could be because I'm an aran too, but it didn't feel like 1%.

If you kill slowly it would be worthwhile to consider the magical ring because of it's stun property. 8% Doesn't sound like alot but you could probably stun a mob
in 1-2 attacks or 1 savage blow even. I find it extremely useful when training on my bishop using angel ray+bahamut+big bang, since those skills are all quite slow.
Otherwise if stun isn't wanted, the critical ring will give the most stable critical damage output.
