Does Slash Storm Skillbook drop? - Chameleonic - 2010-08-01
Has anyone got conclusive evidence it drops? If so which monster drops it?
Also, do I have to do the lv 55 Third Job advance before I reach level 70 for Third Job+, Or can I keep leveling? I'm currently lv 56 and I havent yet advanced due to having SP as I dont have Slash Storm 20 .

You can advance to 3rd job past lvl 55, yes, not sure about 70+ though.
One thing is weird though, I accidentally used all SPs (including the 3 gained at lvl 56) on earlier job advs and then went FFFFFUUUUUU-
Fortunately, I had those spared 3rd job SP resets, however, only 2 points could be resetted into 3rd job skills, so... awkward.
As for Slash Storm, I'd been hunting Stone Golems on and off for almost 2 levels before I gave up.

The issue is, you need slash storm maxed to get another important skill further on.

If the skillbooks do drop then i might actually continue training my dual blade, but it seems unlikely.
Some people on Gamefaqs said that it dropped; however, they didn't say which monster and didn't give any evidence to prove their claims.
