Activision: A short history - EarthAdept2 - 2010-07-29 http://www.teamliquid.net/forum/viewmessage.php?topic_id=128252 This was quite an interesting read. I'm not too sure on how to react to this since I've never had a positive feeling towards Activision. But I guess this makes me a bit depressed thinking about future of gaming with this kind of management behind it... Lol this is an old-ish article but interesting nonetheless. Activision: A short history - madanthony - 2010-07-29 I cringed. Activision: A short history - Dark Link - 2010-07-29 I facepalmed over 9000 times. This is just ridiculously stupid... Activision: A short history - Corn - 2010-07-29 I cried. Now ValvE is the only decent company out there... Activision: A short history - ChaosCorpse - 2010-07-30 This just bolsters my opinion that the entertainment industry as a whole is tearing itself apart from the inside right now. Doesn't help that politicians are on our backs as well. Granted the primary issue on that front fell out of favor a few years back, but it isn't over. Companies are attacking their consumer base in order to protect their assets. Had an interest in Spore once, I lost it. I have an interest in Starcraft II, but that is only once a battle chest is released. I don't care the length of each campaign, but if they expect me to pay 180$ for one full game, they can shove it. Activision: A short history - Will - 2010-07-30 Well he IS the most hated man in video games. |
