About bosses, post BB... - Phoenix Wright - 2010-07-29 Man, I post in this forum a lot. Were bosses changed as of BB in KMS? ie. Pap, Pianus, Zakum, HT (non-chaos), etc. Thanks! About bosses, post BB... - Manu - 2010-07-29 Only thing I've heard is that they added PDDrate, and for what Fiel explained it's basically adding HP by making your damage lower. It's also unknown if this PDDrate can be bypassed by some skills or not. Oh also some boss levels were changed, I think Zakum is 110 but I don't recall the others. About bosses, post BB... - Fiel - 2010-07-29 Maniak nailed it. I don't have KMS downloaded so I couldn't tell you the exact changes. About bosses, post BB... - Phoenix Wright - 2010-07-29 That'd make bosses ridiculously easy training for anyone who can solo, namely Papulatus, if they're the only ones who didn't get their EXP/HP ratios dragged down along with the BB. O.o Does anyone know if Snipe ignores PDRate? About bosses, post BB... - Fiel - 2010-07-29 Snipe ignores PDRate. EXE file says so. About bosses, post BB... - Phoenix Wright - 2010-07-29 Scary. Marksman with maxed Snipe could down Papulatus in 3 minutes, give or take. One last thing, pertaining to current GMS - Durability weapons often have an effect that is +20% or so to x type of monster - Reptile, Undead, etc. Would Skelegon/Skelosaurus be considered Reptile, or Undead? Or can they be both? I wasn't sure how such classifications worked. About bosses, post BB... - dpeterlin - 2010-07-29 http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=26795&page=2&highlight=undead Cyanne's post on the 2nd page doesn't really say how it is determined but at least gives you an idea of some of the more useful classifications for each type and if you open the spoiler all the monsters for that category. Shame, I was hoping I could have an excuse to move off Newts earlier -_- Is the 20% increase a 1.2x on your damage, or is it just +20% of your range? About bosses, post BB... - FrozNlite - 2010-07-29 I could've sworn Paul posted changed boss levels earlier in another patch thread. IIRC Zakum is 110, Horntail is 130, and Pink Bean is 150. No HPs have changed for any boss, but like Maniak said, every boss has a higher PD/MDRate as compared to normal mobs. IIRC Zakum/Papulatus/Pianus and any less bosses (not area) have rates of 25, while HT's rate is 40 and PB's is 70. PD/MDRates 101 Crash Course: The value = the amount your damage is reduced by. So take your total damage after all calculations and reduce it by 25%, 40%, and 70%, respectively, for the above mobs I mentioned. About bosses, post BB... - Phoenix Wright - 2010-07-29 I looked over the thread, but I was positively bewildered that, minus level, notable bosses were entirely unchanged minus the inclusion of PDRate, and assumed it was missed or came in a later patch or something. They have remained the same as they've always been. Regular Zak is now 110. CZak is still 140. |
