potential scroll system - mamaloki - 2010-07-21 Hi all, I have questions regarding the potential scroll system. If normal item use potential scroll then have the potential. Then buy the magnifying glass to identify the potential. Am I right? If rare/epic.unique item, then I do not need to use potential scroll because the potential is already inside. Am I right? thanks potential scroll system - byakugan - 2010-07-21 Once you use the magnifying glass, then it reveals the potential attributes. Therefore, you need to do nothing else. http://www.southperry.net/showthread.php?t=29238 potential scroll system - Coogi - 2010-07-21 byakugan Wrote:Once you use the magnifying glass, then it reveals the potential attributes. I bought one of each Magnified Glass and I couldn't use any of them on any of my scrolled items or clean items...What am I missing? potential scroll system - Kabanaw - 2010-07-21 Coogi Wrote:That thread is useless now. Potential scrolls. It has to be unidentified status before you can identify it. potential scroll system - UltimaSteele - 2010-07-21 Coogi Wrote:That thread is useless now. You have to use potential scrolls on items that aren't unidentified before you can use the magnifying glass on them. After potential-ing them, then you can use the glasses to get your stat boosts. Edit: Ninja'd. potential scroll system - mamaloki - 2010-07-21 so rare/epic/unique item do not to use potential? do all rare/epic/unique item automatically have potential inside? Do monster do rare/epic/unique item anyway? only normal item then need to use the potential scroll? potential scroll system - Worthyness - 2010-07-21 mamaloki Wrote:so rare/epic/unique item do not to use potential? I dont't think you're getting it. the rare/epic/unique stuff isn't pre-defined on the item. What happens is, when you have a clean equip it is labled as unidentified or normal. The normal ones REQUIRE YOU TO SCROLL IT WITH THE POTENTIAL SCROLL. the potential scroll will then GIVE THE ITEM THE RANKING of rare/epic/unique. (caps for emphasis, not for anger/emotional -ness) potential scroll system - Stereo - 2010-07-21 1) item drops with "Hidden Potential" 2) use Magnifying Glass on it 3) item becomes Rare/Epic/Unique
Spoiler
If your item does not have "Hidden Potential" (red outline), you can't use the magnifying glass. If your item is Rare/Epic/Unique, you can't use the magnifying glass. potential scroll system - mamaloki - 2010-07-21 Worthyness Wrote:I dont't think you're getting it. oic. I understand now. thank for your reply. so unidentified hidden potential item do drop from monster. potential scroll system - Coogi - 2010-07-21 Stereo Wrote:1) item drops with "Hidden Potential" Oh, so if the item dropped from a monster you can use the Mag. Glass first? But if say you bought it from a NPC, Gacha or maker skill you have to use a Potential scroll before you can use the Mag. Glass? Correct anything I may be wrong on please. =) potential scroll system - shouri - 2010-07-21 If the item drops from a monster.. it MIGHT come unidentified (Red border) If it has no red border you have to use a potential scroll to GIVE it a red border. After it has a red border, use a magnifying glass to get boosts.... that simple. potential scroll system - Birdie - 2010-07-21 magnifying glasses are bought from an npc correct? Which npcs is this is right or from where if its not npcs? potential scroll system - Coogi - 2010-07-21 shouri Wrote:If the item drops from a monster.. it MIGHT come unidentified (Red border) Mk, that's what I was thinking. potential scroll system - Worthyness - 2010-07-21 Birdie Wrote:magnifying glasses are bought from an npc correct?
