Vega's Spell and White scrolls - LiquidSwing - 2010-07-17
Hey guys. I got a huge problem on my hands.
I got a piece of equipment I want to scroll. I have aqcuired the 10% Topwear for str scroll I need, and a white scroll. I now have a 10% vega's spell.
I remember from january that if you use a vega's spell with a white scroll, if the scroll fails it will consume the white scroll but wont preserve the item slot.
Is this true? Has it been fixed? please help

Afaik using a white scroll with vegas was not even possible.
Since the UI is similar to the way legendary spirit works but without a check box for if you want to use a white scroll.
I may have just skimmed over the part where people were saying they lost their white scroll, but I think there would have been tests conducted if it were possible as a 30% rate with ws is a damn good improvement.
Edit: Apparently there is a pop-up box that asks you if you want to use it. Sorry I have no actual info on it, if it did work I'd imagine we'd hear more about is my reasoning for thinking it doesn't but of course that's just speculation with no actual proof

Whenever you try to use the vega's spell with the equip + scroll, it will ask "Do you want to use the white scroll?". Just like if you were going to try to scroll without the spell. The problem is, if you do choose to use the WS with vega, it will consume the slot even if it fails.
That was how it was in january anyway. I dont know if it has been fixed yet.
