White Knight Beginning - chris20012 - 2010-07-11 Well i just leveled to 70 and got my job advance, but since of the new balance patch, what should i put as my first skill? Should it be lightning charge since i can use dual charges. or does someone have a updated guide? please and thank you in advance.
White Knight Beginning - SlayerZach - 2010-07-11 As usual, it's highly recommended to go for Fire Charge first, as there is nothing in the 7x levels weak to Lightning or Ice. Next up is your choice: keep killing Fire-weak monsters with Lightning Charge, or move on to Ice-weak monsters, and slowly build up Lightning Charge after that. Oh, and 1 point in Charged Blow is decent. You can use it when your charge(s) are about to expire, for a slightly stronger mobbing attack, and a chance of stun. After Fire Charge is maxed, you can move to Dual Ghost Pirates in Ludibrium Dungeon. Power Strikes can deal up 6000+(depends how well you're funded. :f6 on them. It's very nice training spot that is excellent until you move elsewhere, such as Blue Kentauruses.
White Knight Beginning - ¬Rob - 2010-07-11 My build would not have changed because of the balance patch, especially knowing what we do now; that charges are added, lightning isn't counted elementally, and the elemental bonus is only 135% when stacked. Dual charging only gives about 1~3k extra damage on what you'd do with both charges maxed, it's not worth putting your build around maxing both for dual charging. I'd still do 1 ice at 70 for the freeze, then max fire > ice or lit(optional on which) > the other > CB > then dump into whatever you want. I guess maxing lit after fire would be nice for Vikerolas. But would limit your training to just those, or something you've no elemental advantage over(Why play a Wk if you have no elemental advantage over? Could've made a sader for that), and not red wyverns at 90-ish. :/ |
