EXP rate soloing at Peak for a 10x Dragon Knight? - WillDaSnail - 2010-06-14 Just wondering... How is the EXP rate soloing at Peak of the Big Nest (Leafre) as a level 10x (to-be 11x) Dragon Knight? Someone said that its a good solo place, and I'm considering as an alternative spot in case I can't find a partner at Himes. However, I'm interested in the pros and cons of that place. Mostly the cons though. EXP rate soloing at Peak for a 10x Dragon Knight? - Stereo - 2010-06-14 I haven't tried the Peak but I soloed quite a bit in Restoring Memories (Skele minidungeon). It's decent exp (~15%/hr at 118-119, more at lower levels) but costs a lot of pots... I used about 600 elixirs per hour and only looted around 500k mesos. EXP rate soloing at Peak for a 10x Dragon Knight? - XTOTHEL - 2010-06-14 why don't you solo himes instead? o-o EXP rate soloing at Peak for a 10x Dragon Knight? - WillDaSnail - 2010-06-14 XTOTHEL Wrote:why don't you solo himes instead? o-o Pot burner + low EXP rate. Also, if I have no one to train with me, I will get bored. Easily. (However, training my F/P is an exception. )
EXP rate soloing at Peak for a 10x Dragon Knight? - XTOTHEL - 2010-06-14 Try some soloing at gallos? If you can find a ch, you'll probably have a priest soon enough. I personally think that Gallos are synonymous with ks wars, given how many people train there. Don't want to risk that. And plus, during 2x EXP events, that place is....just too crowded EXP rate soloing at Peak for a 10x Dragon Knight? - XTOTHEL - 2010-06-14 what about some gobi lovin? EXP rate soloing at Peak for a 10x Dragon Knight? - dpeterlin - 2010-06-14 Skele MD is the place to go. Trying out typhons might not be bad either, you're probs past the prime there but it would a nice way to mix things up. Of course you'll have to deal with the solitude but the map keeps you on your toes so it might not get as boring as quickly. Gallos are a nice place to find a pt, if you play off-peak hours the ksing really isn't bad. Considering you said you don't want to be alone you might also consider a jr newt pt. The exp isn't half bad, pt setting, if you have an active priest they heal for you and who doesn't love hb. Not to mention most have ring mules atm and trading pt2x is abundant when you find a good pt. Not sure bout that. =x dpeterlin Wrote:Gallos are a nice place to find a pt, if you play off-peak hours the ksing really isn't bad. I'll take a look at it. Though, soloing may just be just as painful dpeterlin Wrote:Considering you said you don't want to be alone you might also consider a jr newt pt. I was thinking about this too (though I considered Peak my first choice as I'm not "high-enough" level for newt parties). I think again, at where I am right now, accuracy might be an issue. =\ @ Bolded: That's not true all the time. Most priests there are simply HS mules; they sit and HS, and don't go around healing active attackers. Some simply provide HS and leech at the same time. Rarely have I seen any priest go and heal active attackers. The only time that bolded statement is true is when I party with a priest at Himes. ![]() And that's why I pack myself plenty of pots every time I head off to train.

It's hard these days to get a priest that actually wants to be in a newt pt much less one that wants to do work for it. If you have one that isn't just someone's hs mule though they can be persuaded into doing it assuming you are topping since they like camping on the plat just below. And I actually read it wrong and thought you were a 11x dk, 10x means you might definitely might run into some of the problems you mentioned (acc and pt lvl). With that in mind definitely at least give typhoons a shot (assuming you have maxed droar). They're definitely still a viable option exp-wise and quite frankly just an interesting experience training-wise. Gallos are friendly on your pots even solo. They really don't hit for much and drop a steady supply of power elxirs/crystals and grabbing a scroll will pay for your pots for a few days. EXP rate soloing at Peak for a 10x Dragon Knight? - Stereo - 2010-06-15 Yeah, I split 10x from Typhons and Gallos. Easier to find a Typhon map, but they don't make as much money (no valuable drops... no equips... just mesos) Typhons were lightly faster exp (50-55% at 100, 35%-40% at 105, 30% at 110, Gallos about 3-5% slower) Kinda have 1100 Typhon Feathers in my etc. now, I really need to find a way to deal with NLs making Balanced Furies. >_> Already forged 3 sets for a guild mate, used to have near 1200. |
